Baton Rouge, LA – Moxey, the regional leader in fintech and small business commerce marketing technology, has been actively expanding its leadership team and announced today that Jack Heaton has joined the executive team as Chief Technology Officer.
Heaton brings deep technical experience to the Moxey team with a background in engineering, infrastructure, and software architecture as well as new energy and perspective to propel Moxey into its next phase of growth.
Moxey President and CEO, Charlie Davis, said, “We are ecstatic to have Jack Heaton as Moxey's new CTO. Building easy-to-use software that can also scale globally will be a challenging but rewarding project. Jack is uniquely qualified to lead our development team and create the best software this industry has ever seen. He has the experience, intelligence, and mindset to make it happen.”
Heaton was introduced to Moxey by Corey Tisdale, Entrepreneur in Residence at The Idea Village and on Moxey’s Board of Advisors. “Jack has the special ability to see both the complexities of a solution in great detail as well as the purpose of the total solution with clarity and vision”, Tisdale remarked. “Jack joins us as part of our continuing investment in the innovative technology that helps local business owners access interest free lines of credit and additional revenue from within the Moxey community.”

New Orleans native Jack Heaton graduated from LSU with his BS in Biological Engineering. He most recently served as Senior Developer at FiveSix Healthcare for three years. He also served as Software Engineer at Hanger, Inc. Heaton is a former clinical systems consultant with IONET Health Resources.
